We believe in sustainable agriculture as a method to protect the wealth of our planet: we grow our olive trees in harmony with nature, nourishing the soil with natural methods and promoting biodiversity.

The olive tree, a symbol of strength and resilience, is a clear choice for us: its cultivation is among the most sustainable, it requires a few quantity of water and prevents soil erosion.

But our commitment to sustainability does not end in the fields. We also apply the principles of the circular economy in our mill, optimising production processes and enhancing by-products to create a virtuous cycle to avoid wastes.

De Carlo’s production is zero-impact, based on respect for the land and protecting health and the environment. The “Drip Irrigation” system allows us to produce the highest quality oil and minimize water use, as it is precisely applied to the roots of the plants. In this context, in 2016, De Carlo was the first company in Italy to receive the “WORLD AWARD SAVE THE PLANET BY DRIP IRRIGATION” BY CELLETTI (the “World Award for Planet Conservation Through Drip Irrigation”).

Organic Fetrilization

For centuries, our family has cultivated these ancient trees, admiring their strength and generosity. But passion alone is not enough to produce exceptional quality extra virgin olive oil. The land must be nourished with respect and care, which means we rely on organic fertilization. Healthy soil produces healthy olives, and healthy olives yield superior quality extra virgin olive oil. An oil that preserves its aromatic profile, rich in fruity and spicy notes, and stands out for its complexity and persistence on the palate. When you taste our oil, you are savoring the result of patient work that respects nature. An oil that tells the story of our land, our traditions, and our passion.
